Golden (war)helmet. Kinkabuto is considered the most yellow of the yellow shima (striped) varieties. If it mutates to a fukurin, the called kinkabuto-fukurin, an even higher plant in the Fuukiran ranking. Bright yellow stripes appeared on a plant purchased in 1880 and kinkabuto was born! This is a very colourful specimen. Let’s hope for further mutations. 5 growths
